What is the best homeschool curriculum?
There is no single homeschool curriculum that is best for every child. The right fit depends on factors such as the child’s academic level, strengths and needs, interests, independence, preferred lesson format, parent involvement, budget, and homeschooling arrangement.
Do I need to use one curriculum company for every subject?
No. Many homeschool families combine curriculum from different providers. A child may thrive with one approach for math and a completely different approach for science, writing, or history.
How do I know which curriculum will work for my child?
Look beyond grade level alone. Consider your child’s current ability in each subject, independence, engagement, need for repetition, tolerance for worksheets, interests, and preferred types of activities.
